Unresponsive screens
2 of 3 found this helpful I first bought one of these screens about two months ago because mine was cracked. when it arrived, I had it installed. I wasn't even out of the store when it started acting up. Parts of the screen refused to register my touch, while other parts responded if i breathed too close to it. Before i even went to bed that night, the whole screen was completely f*cked. So I had it takes off, returned it, and had a replacement sent. This time, when i had the replacement installed, these white bands popped up on the screen and won't go away. nearly a third of the screen is pretty much covered and I can't see what's under/behind it. A couple hours after I had it installed, it started doing the same sh*t as the first one. It's been on for almost a week and is still (barely) usable, but I've already placed an order from another company for third replacement. I had the screens installed at the Verizon Store (AKA by professionals), so it was definitely the screen at fault. Also: don't be fooled by the yard sale of items that come with the screen. You won't even take 70% of that stuff out of the bag. One of the "Installation equipment pieces" is a guitar pick for Christ's sake! I wish I could give this less than one star. Moral of my angry rant: DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!
