best fillet knives in town

Elk Ridge makes these knives out of AISI 440 - this is the steel used for scalpels and other surgical instruments.
Their heat treatment is superb.
These knives hold their edge for a long time, and they are fairly easy to re-sharpen.
I bought the first one for myself.
I've already bought another 8 of them - for my son, for my sons-in-law, and for all my nephews.
This is a very good knife.

I'm sorry - no review possible
0 of 1 found this helpful I bought the tool for a customer in South America, and it hasn't shipped yet.
I usually only hear about it if the tool doesn't work.
You will never convince me that the Asian tools are as good as the older IR, ARO or Atlas Copco tools used to be.
Asian tools are good for one time only jobs.
They are dirt cheap.
Buy them, use them, and trash them.
If another job shows up, buy a new one and then you trash it.
That also helps you keep track of the clutter on your shelves.
