Cheapish support
Well you'd think it was easy to just screw in the back plate onto your monitor and slide it into the wall bracket, but that's not the case. Firstly with the Dell monitors I use you have to pack out the securing bolts so as to make the monitor brackets not be recessed, I'll explain why later and the alignment of the wall bracket needs to be carefully considered and marked before trying to install it.
Once the overall height is decided upon you will need to workout where to place the wall bracket. Sliding the monitor /tv into the slot almost needs an alignment mark on the monitor and wall as you cannot see the bracket as its totally covered by the monitor. Once the monitor is engaged a little more downward force is required to engage the two bottom mounting screw lugs. Best of luck trying to get the locking screws engaged into the monitors plate, you will need to be able to see the screws as it's impossible to do without a visual confirmation, then if you have not trialled the screws by inserting them though the non threaded stand part into the monitor plate then paint on the threads will make this a non joyous exercise in futility.
For such a simple thing there are a few pitfalls. If you do not have the monitor plate slightly proud of flush then you cannot slide the monitor bracket all the way down as the lugs on the bracket will foul the monitor and prevent full engagement. A little more thought about securing the two plates would be most welcome and an alignment template or clear instructions. All in all a frustrating device which should be soo simple.
