Worth reading, disregard the modern intro material
This is a most interesting collection of writings of one of the Protestant Reformation's most radical and egalitarian leaders. I personally, however, could do without the editorializing by Tony Benn and others who insert all sorts of modern attitudes and contexts into their comments at the start of the book, trying to make it "relevant" to modern readers. In so doing they attempt to harness Winstanley to their own modern projects which may or may not actually reflect the same orientation and spirit. But the bulk of the book consists of Winstanley's writings and those are definitely worth reading.

Important warning
2 of 2 found this helpful Ms. Gabriel writes with knowledge about the topic of the threat of Islamic fundamentalist terror. She also recounts how past U.S. administrations have cultivated Islamic fundamentalism for their own globalist aims, disregarding the danger it poses both within the Middle East and outside that region to the entire world. She also offers suggestions on ways to counter this ominous trend.

Important story! Fantastic read!
An excellent read! America's first war as an independent country was against a group of Islamic regimes in North Africa that were hijacking US ships and literally enslaving the crews - according to the dictates of the Shari'ah. At first the US tried to follow the practice of other great powers that paid protection money (jizyah) to the piratic Muslim regimes but the amounts they demanded kept rising beyond the capability of the young USA to pay. Finally, Jefferson had had enough and the US went to war with the jihadi regimes which were finally defeated under President Madison. The book tells the tale in an engaging, not stodgy, academic way and reads like an adventure story - but all documented and accurate. The struggle with political Islam isn't new and isn't an aberration. It didn't start on 9/11 but in 1785. Learn about it here!
