Fast, well-priced CPU for home or gaming use
2 of 2 found this helpful Running on BIOS "Auto" settings, the 11700K performs well, especially when doing large recalcs in spreadsheets, where all 16 cores are stressed. Not too impressed with the overclocking abilities though. It may be my motherboard (Gigabyte Z590i Aorus Ultra), but the PC just reset when I tried a higher clock speed (and I have a very good CPU water cooler). Good value given its price and clock speed that can top over 5GHz standard without overclocking.

Not perfect pads
Old stock foam pads disintegrated with humidity after 3 yrs, so wanted a classier version.
This new leatherette version does not quite fit on my C320-M headset. It slips around and provides no padding. Somewhat disappointing.

Garmin's new sensor is simpler
Less parts is always good. Not having a magnet attached to your wheel or in this case, your crank means one less thing to fly off.
Only downside is the elastics. Some reviewers report they can weaken or break after months and then the sensor falls off.
The simple solution is to attach 2 cable ties over the top of the elastic.
So far the sensor has worked well and pairs easily with the Garmin Forerunner 235 watch.
You can display real-time cadence on the watch as well as check the entire ride and averages etc on Garmin Connect after upload of your ride.
