    Orion 120mm f/8.3 Refractor
I bought the Orion 120mm f/8.3 Refractor on the Orion VersaGo Precision Altaz Mount, First the scope, This is the largest refractor I have owned or seen and the views are great. I have read of chromatic aberration on bright objects such as the moon or planets at high power, My first night out with the scope showed perfect stars with a black background and very little chromatic aberration on bright stars or Saturn using a 5mm Baader Hyperion eyepiece at around 200x , side by side with my 10" Dob I thought the 120 held it's own and then some. I did notice the stiff focuser that i have read about but it was not as bad as i was expecting, And the scope is so big when pointing to zenith I have to get down on my knees to view. The best thing I did to the scope was bought a Williams Optics 2" VR-1 Violet Reducer Filter I keep it on the 2" orion diagonal the scope came with "WOW" this filter gives this scope almost "APO" views compared to my William Optics Megrez 90mm APO I am very happy with This scope and Highly recommend it to any one that can not afford a "APO" refractor,The mount easily holds the tube and is smooth as silk in all directions even when I use my Bino-viewers only thing I did not like with it is the height of the mount compared to the size of the scope, It is really short when the scope is at zenith other then that I recommend the VersaGo Precision Altaz Mount.
