Milwaukee M12 Rivet Tool Kit 2550-20 (Tool Only)
    Mar 30, 2019
A must have tool if you rivet.
It’s fast! It’s sooo clean, and it’s cordless/hoseless. My air riveters never seem to fully set a river, and often break the stud off so I’m stuck cutting, then carefully filing the pin down. I borrowed a $900 electric riveter from my buddy to try out. It was amazing... then when I went to buy my own, I noticed the Milwaukee, and started researching. This tool seems to have more power than an air riveter. It’s also a smooth motion, and it pulls the rivet straight through. Tight, fast, and with clean separation. I was extremely skeptical that this could perform on par with it’s nearly $1000 counterpart, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that if these existed during WWII, this is what “Rosie the Riveter” would have been building planes with. I know most folks have the same pack of rivets in their tool box till the day they die, but we in my shop go through hundreds a week. I will be buying several more of these. I have had both the expensive foreign model and the Milwaukee in my hands, and used them both extensively. This one wins!! If you pop 10 rivets a year, skip it. If you use them constantly as I do, don’t give it a second thought. You need one!!!!
