Excellent dock for a compatible HP laptops
These docks are truly great. Few drivers are needed to get them going, but the whole install process shouldn't take more than 10 min. Dock can drive two large monitors via display ports, 4 USB ports, one of which is charging (very useful for charging mobile phones even if a dock is turned off/there's no laptop connected to it), a 3rd monitor via VGA port, and a USB-C port. Laptop connects via a special cable that feeds USB-C data, and power into a single USB-C Thunderbolt 3 connector. I have not detected a single drop out or any other issue of any kind.
Downside? The USB-C connector is very fragile. I do not think the manufactures got it right… this connector will either lose connectivity (resulting in video / USB dropouts), or break/snap probably within 6 months to a year. The old-fashioned docking was much more durable/reliable.

Enormous amount of EMI Radiation. Do not buy!
2 of 3 found this helpful EMI radiation is not present if no USB devices are connected. However, as soon as a single phone gets connected, the EMI is unbelievable. With 2 or 3 phones connected (or an Ipad) on charge, the EMI is so high that I completely lose TV reception. I looked for Australia tick of approval for EMI radiation - there are none! This board/brand has a local distributor. How did they manage to import it to Australia????
