Simply doesn't work
This product doesn't really work at all, or at least not if you have any kind of visible dirt, staining or discolouration on your carpet. I spent an hour using it on 1 square metre of my hallway carpet and the only result was that it was left wet for two days. I can only imagine that those who give this product positive reviews are those who a) have visibly clean carpet and b) get an OCD thrill at the appearance of a mixture of dust and water in the transparent container on the machine. But this level of dust removal could equally as well be achieved with a hoover...
