Well made, classy looking game with an issue or two
The board itself is well made and looks classy whether closed or open. Small enough to easily carry around, even on a plane. A handle would have been a welcome addition.
A problem I have is the "checkers" are very small and hard to grasp and manipulate on the board. While this is tolerable in small confines (like a plane), it is annoying during regular play. But my biggest gripe is that the dice are too big! At first this seems nice as they fit well into the shakers. They are nice dice. The problem is their size--they are continually getting in a cocked position between board and the checkers. After one game we just house ruled it to go with the cocked position instead of re-rolling them. Even so it is irritating and I believe smaller dice would alleviate the problem.
Anyway, a nicely made product that suffers from functionality issues.
