Remote Start DOES NOT WORK with the keys supplied on my vehicle.
Purchased two replacement keys in order to put the originals away. New keys cut and programmed. They work fine for all functions except remote start. No response from the vehicle when the remote start is attempted. No beep. No error on the dash. Nothing. The original two keys work fine. I have searched the internet for any additional programming requirements. Can find nothing. There was a thread that there may be circuitry missing needed to support the Remote Start function. Possibly the wrong card placed in the shell at time of manufacturing. Who knows? So I have a pair of semi-functional keys, but they do not do what I need them to do. Pictures below. I have bought numerous keys in the past and never had a problem.

Nice addition to my Mustang.
This is one of those items that is nice to have, but probably not worth the investment if you continually need to raise your top. If you can keep your top down for days at a time, I recommend picking one up. When the top is down, it looks like a parachute. It may not be the case aerodynamically, but that is the illusion. Another reason I made the purchase. The boot takes a few minutes to install, but not too difficult, and it looks great. Stores easily in the trunk. Happy Motoring!
