Needs to have a tap that fits it.
I have bought over 100 of these and plan on buying another 100 or more over time. The only problem with these is that the threads are a unique thread and as far as I can find, no american or metric thread tapping device has these threads. Most sellers either ignore my requests for the specs on the threads or give me an approximation that doesn't fit it. Others say to just drill a slightly smaller hole in the PVC pipe and hand thread it, but that doesn't work when you have over 30 to do at a time.
The valves are of high quality with good MFG. and high reliability and perform their job well.

Somewhat disapointed
I have purchased hundreds of this type of valve over the last few years and up until this batch, they have been exactly the same. This batch looks the same as all the older ones I have but the threads are different. I used my caliper to double check them and they are slightly larger than before and they do not go out to the edge. This makes manual threading them into a hole drilled into my schedule 40, 1 inch PVC pipe that carries the air around my fish room. I re-drilled the holes a couple 64ths larger and using a very high force got them to 'catch' and thread themselves into the PVC.
I'm not sure that saving a few pennies is worth the increased hassle!

Perfect OEM product
I figure that these are good insurance to avoid separation at 12,000 RPM. Stihl OEM is much, much better than the Chineezium ones supplied in most cylinder kits.
