Very sturdy and functional. Able to withstand multiple installs and removals, when done correctly.
Our mixer has more than one problem, and as it turned out, we were not able to get it working. However, in the process of working on the mixer, we disassembled it several times. It was necessary to remove the governor and reinstall it several times. This governor held up to this excellently, and remains as new. The governor seems to function exactly as it should, even though we were not able to get our mixer repaired - due to other problems, not involving the governor.
