Do not buy ,waste of money and you will be very dissapointed
When the kettle arrived I boiled the kettle 2 times and discarded the water as recomended then made a cup of tea and there was a horrible taste still.I washed the kettle with liquid to see if this rectified the problem but even after a week the taste and the smell which smells a bit like tcp is still present.The smell seems to come from where the site in the base and the element.If I hadnt of thrown the box away i would of returned this kettle.Very disappointed and a waste of money as I am going to have to buy another kettle.
