It’s cheap, it works, keeps your food and beverages cold
5 of 5 found this helpful It gets cold enough to freeze bottled water and meat. It survived a weekend of wheeling. The settings you preset doesn’t stay when it loses power and reverts to factory defaults of 32f or 0c which is fine, I find it on the cooler side and will actually freeze some items. It draws 5 amps when the compressor kicks on, I find that the compressor will come on less often the more items you have in it. Has a decent sized start/run capacitor so inrush current is barely noticeable. It’s a bit louder than the dometics and ARBs in my group, especially when the compressor shuts off so if you sleep in the car next to the fridge I can see how that can be a nuisance, but at a quarter of the price of the brand names I’ll live with it. I don’t have a dual battery setup and the fridge didn’t completely drain my battery overnight, just weak crank in the morning but the car started right up. The screws that hold the handles to the side of the fridge were lose, to be expected with an item from a factory with very little quality control. The electronic parts and wiring connectors were nice and snug and the solders looked adequate (yes, I opened it up and checked it before plugging it in) all in all very satisfied with this unit, beats coleman cooler and a bag of ice, unless you really like your ham sandwich soaked in ice water.

This thing is a BEAST!!
1 of 1 found this helpful i have a milwaukee 2763-20 at home and bought this one for work since we already have makita batteries, similar specs as the milwaukee but it feels different, this thing hits harder. also better build quality, small things like the screws are threaded onto the metal nose piece instead of the plastic housing, rubber guard that you dont have to pay extra for like the milwaukee, there's a rubber piece that separates the gun from the battery to limit vibration and overall just feels more sturdy compared to milwaukee
