Intense color, great if you are used to ink.
These watercolors are intense, highly concentrated colors. Be prepared to add a lot of water for skin tones. Layer and mix beautifully, too.
In fact, the only real gripe I have with these is they are a pain to work with if you try to rewet them. It's possible, but the pigment clumps and it could ruin a work, if you're not careful.
This is especially a problem when you consider how expensive they are and how concentrated. A drop or two is enough for most paintings (assuming you're working around 9x12) so it's really easy to get too much in your pallet, and if you're like me, you hate to waste.
All in all, worth the purchase, though.
