Pillars of the Earth. I loved the hardcover because it was easier for me to read. The book is very long so the hard cover for me would last.

If you like history, although its not a history book, it goes back to the knights and Masons. I hated when I was done reading it. I wanted more. Just a hint about the second book written a few years later... I totally didn't connect with anything, big disappointment.
