Great product
1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this to use with my compustar 4900s remote start on a 2003 oldsmobile bravada. This worked fantastic! This made the remote start install much faster! It actually eliminates the need to connect at least 6-10 wires that you would otherwise have to for your remote start keyless entry to function properly. What a great product, I am going to put a remote start in a friends car soon and I will definitely be using another one. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to simplify your remote start/keyless entry install.

It helps a bit
I have a belt drive garage door opener, but it is still pretty loud when my garage door is opened and I was hoping these would quiet it because there are 2 bedrooms above the garage door opener. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to do much. I do think they helped, but only a very little bit. I would recommend them just because it's better than not using them, but don't expect much.

Fantastic remote start system!
2 of 2 found this helpful For under $100, I dont think you could by a better remote start system. This unit is very high quality. I have installed many remote start/keyless entry systems in the past and the quality on this one is some of the best I have seen. I would say comparable to viper, but a lot less complicated. The install instructions are clear and well written. My only problem with this unit is that the customizable programming options are not very easy to adjust, but that is probably because there is separate programming unit that can be purchased for $200 to make it easier. Its doable without, but quite a pain. Luckily there wasn't many options I needed to change. The remotes are very high quality and have the perfect amount of stiffness to the buttons so they won't accidentally get pressed in my pocket. I purchased this because I wanted a 2 way system, but I've had the LCD fobs in the past and they just eat batteries, this one simply beeps 3 times and the lights on the remote blink about every 5 seconds while the car is running. I just want to know if it's running and this does the trick. The best part about this is the range the remotes work from. It is advertised at 3000ft, and I can't tell you the exact range, but that is probably accurate. I work at a large big box retailer and I have to park in the furthest parking spots from the store, and I can remote start my car from inside the building at the very back of the store. I couldn't ask for better range honestly. I was just hoping I could start my car from the inside of the building, and this by far exceeds my expectations. Great product, I would definitely recommend this to anyone.
