Amazing
Just got these whistles today after about a month. Coming from a Clarke original d whistle, the whistle can't even compare to these ones. Really easy to play on and don't need a lot of breath. Amazing work from Freeman again. Maybe I will get the Blackbirds next.

The bird chirps
Great sound. In the high octaves especially you think that it's a bird's chirp. It's really great for jigs one of my favorites to play on this one is swallowtail jig. Compared to the mellow dog which I like for slow airs and generally slower pieces this one's place I think is for jigs and reels. Also I've noticed it takes a little bit less air compared to the mellow dog to reach the higher octaves. It's a bit more difficult to get used to but it's worth the effort.
