Fine material but filthy
Quality of the rod and threads is fine. However, it arrived with an oily film, probably to keep it from rusting, and with a lot of fine grit stuck to the inside threads like it had rolled on the factory floor. It took some rag rubbing and wire brushing to clean it up.
