Vox Compact Spanish and English Dictionary (1993)
We spend a lot of time in the car and we drill each other on our spanish lessons during this time. We wanted to have a smaller dictionary to keep next to the seat for checking on variations of words and meanings of street signs in the southwest. This particular dictionary is almost as good as my Harper Collins College Spanish Dictionary, except that it doesn't weigh 20 lbs!

Good movie to watch a second or third time
I bought the movie because after the first time watching it, I wanted to see it again. I didn't rate it excellent, but it was very good--enjoyable and engaging. I've watched it 4 times so far and continue to notice different subtleties I missed at first, back when the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. I now think of the story now more of a message to humans and our continual decline as a society. It's a fast paced movie, good story construction, excellent subject matter. I didn't care a lot for the present-time/flashback switches, but perhaps that was necessary to build the suspense.

Southwestern Soups, Stews, & Skillet Suppers cookbook
The best cookbook for southwest cooking that explains how to adjust food items to your level of taste...spicy or not...AND uses ORDINARY ingredients instead of things you'd have to go and buy special and then end up only using once.
