Size matters!
This is not a job for the for the weekend mechanic. Videos and Youtube can give a false sense of ease. It requires a removal of many parts, til you even get to the replacement of the cable. I found that having used the same routing as the old cable, the difficuly in the length of the new cable. When turning the handlebars it increased the the throttle response or speed. Once installed, I didn't check the length of the old or replaced cable to the new one. The actual transaction was went very smoothly.
