A TRIP TO THE MOON Blu-Ray & DVD SteelBook Limited Edition Georges Melies Rare!

For the psychadelic and/or filmbuff at heart

It would be without a doubt dubious for me to start my review by stating the music is what blew me away with this film more than the restoration, but both deserve 5 out of 5 stars hand down. Milies for his early approach on special effects and ingenius imagination, and AIR for bringing in a left field approach, creating a contemporary vibe on a film that survives over 100 years after it's conception. Slow clap to the production houses that restored this masterpiece. If there is one film to have in your library of movies, make this one a priority. Overall for how short of a film it is, it is a lasting timepiece for what cinema has grown up to be.
