I love this camera!
I've wanted this camera for about two years. Finally got it and I'm so happy with it. I shoot weddings and corporate videos. My favorite thing about the camera is the color. I usually don't even color correct the clips other than adding saturation and adjust the exposure and the colors are so accurate to real life. Night and day over the dslr cameras I would shoot with.
I was bummed to loose the shallow depth of field from a full frame camera but I've grown to like it even better at times. It's so much easier to focus. Plus I've noticed a lot of Hollywood movies don't even have crazy depth of field.
The fact that you can't use image stabilization is a bummer too but you just gotta get used to going all manual and using other forms of stabilization. I'm shooting on rokinon primes and I love them. I have a 21mm 1.4 and an 85mm 1.5 DS lens. I like the 21 the best. It's basically like a 50mm on a full frame.
I also love the look of the camera. It's so unique and it causes people to ask questions about it and that gives me an opportunity to talk about my style and whatnot. It's another thing to set me apart which is important as a wedding filmmaker.
Of course the high dynamic range is so amazing to have. It adds so much realism to the look of the film.
I would highly recommend this camera to any one who wants a raw and natural look to their films and doesn't mind going all manual.
