Great deal on a video doorbell!
I was a little confused, but after purchasing this I talked to Ring Customer service, and the only real difference between the Ring 2 and the Ring Second generation, is the Ring 2 has a removable doorbell and the second generation doesn't. The cameras are the same, and CS also informed me the PRO version is only cosmetic; it has the same camera as well.
I needed to buy a wifi booster because at 25+ ft from the router, the signal is too weak for the doorbell to work properly, although it does work, it just is a little slow and skips in the video sometimes.
This is a great value for a Ring Video Doorbell, you can't beat the price!
PS. You will also need a min. 16V/30A-hr transformer for this to work, and if you don't have a doorbell attached, you will need a 50 Watt 25 Ohm Wirewound Resistor.
Happy with LED bulb. They work fine. Not extremely bright, but bright enough. Its nice that they don't have a dark spot in the middle of the beam like a regular bulb. There is a bright middle spot, surrounded by a larger area of not so bright light. I really like the color as they are not too yellow.
Very nice quality, the only problem is the plug from the welder will not insert all the way into the receptacle on the extension cord, a potentially dangerous situation with live exposed prongs. (The gap is about 3/8" when the plug is inserted as far as possible- without using a hammer or other tools).
