Sadly, Not a Good Purchase...
On first viewing I was very pleased with this product; the frame and the cogs looked sturdy so I wrote and posted a nice review, but then I came to use it and had to delete what I had written sharpish.
On closer inspection I noticed that the plastic spindle was damaged (and I would hazard a guess that it was not new when it was despatched), but as I did not think the dents and scratches would affect its performance I went ahead and tried to wind some wool. Quite apart from the noise, which is deafening, this contraption is incapable of making an firm, evenly wound cake of yarn. I am not a stranger to using winders, but this bizarre design defeated me every time.
I need a reliable, heavy duty winder so I really wanted to like this product - I really did, but I am sorry to say that it is basically just a badly designed piece of equipment, made out of poor quality, clunky components and is not fit for the purpose for which it was sold

Good product at an exceptionally good price, best keto sticks I've used so far; easy to use and show results in 15 seconds. Don't be put off by the reviews that say these are not the Bayer Ketostix - they are, but they are now being made under another name.

A very good replacement at a very reasonable price
I was expecting to pay the earth for a replacement wii remote controller so I was pleasantly surprised to find this. We've been using it for a couple of weeks and can honestly say that we find there is no difference in build quality or performance between this and one of original remotes.
