Awesome quality!

This is a kit of very high quality. This is an upgraded version of the TU-8200. The design is a bit different and the tubes that comes with the kit are upgraded as well and are of the JJ brand. The kit isn't difficult to assemble thanks to the very good manual with checkboxes for every step, but you need soldering experience of course. It's estimated 5-6 hours of build time but take it slow, ensure the the right components are going where they should and just enjoy the build. The finished amp sounds great and thanks to the automatic bias adjustment it really invites to tube rolling.

Best HSS cutting tools I ever had

I've bought quite a few of the Altai cutting tools and I'm very satisfied with them. The last longer between sharpenings than other HSS tools and more importantly, they are the the only HSS tools (at least of those I've tried, and that's several...) that are able to survive "cold spots" which sometimes appears in cast iron. These cold spots usually ruin an HSS tool when encountered and it's necessary to use tungsten carbide or ceramic cutting tools to finish the job. The Altai tools however, cuts through cold spots without problems. Therefore I highly recommend them.
