Acid Brushes for many purposes...
Anyone out there who needs to frequently apply acids, solvents, fluxes and/or other assorted liquid resins than this product is for you.
These acid brushes are made from real horse hair which keeps their cost at a very low level while providing a fantastic solution that is effective and efficient but is also priced low enough that it can be disposable without any major dent in your wallet.
As a maker and designer, I utilize these brushes to apply rosin fluxes when designing custom PCBs. Additionally, when it comes to the cleanup phase these also work fantastic to apply isopropyl alcohol to PCBs for cleanup.
What makes acid brushes such as these so effective is they are open-ended at the top and are press fitted around the horse hair. This means you can pour a small amount of a liquid which you wish to apply in the opening and the solvent/solution will slowly be saturated through the horse hair allowing for a longer usage without having to re-wet the bristles. (this works best with solutions that have the consistency of water roughly). Lastly, you can pinch the metal brush near the bristles to either open up or close their grip on the bristles allowing you to vary the rate of dispensing.
Highly recommend for all makers and hobbyists. Cheers.
