Started first pull and Worked perfectly.
Purchased this kit for a generator I bought from a yard sale for $30 that didn’t start. After discovering the carb had a coating of thick varnish every where due to ethanol blended gasoline being left in it, I decided to just buy a new carb instead of spending hours disassembling and cleaning the old one. I was pumped to find this kit for $14 with a spark plug & free shipping. I ordered it and received it in 2.5 days which was 3 days faster than expected! After taking an hour to uninstall the old carb and install this one along with the new spark plug, I engaged the choke and hit the on switch then gently pulled the starter rope to cycle gasoline into the engine and then I yanked it and to my amazement it started rite up on the very 1st pull! I’ve never had anything start on the first pull when cold. Especially not something that hasn’t run in over 5 years! The engine purred like a kitten and I didn’t even have to adjust the jet or carb and didn’t even gap the spark plug. 90% of small engine equipment break down due to gummed up carbs from the ethanol content now put in gas. It separates after 30 days and causes havoc on small carbureted engines. Most people practically give away equipment like this when all it needs is a $14 carb kit and to make sure you use fuel stabilizer and ethanol treatment additives in all your fuel and always rotate fresh premium gas in. This was a great purchase and I’m highly satisfied!
