Doesn't live up to advertised specifications

Nice clear receive but barely 4 watts output on high power. Was sold as an 8 watt radio. Too bad if you wish to return it as you'll need to pay postage to China which is almost the price of the radio.

Well made and great performing antenna

I am pleased with the performance of this antenna. Able to hit a 220 repeater that is 85 miles line of sight with 5 watts from inside my home. The antenna is well made, in Taiwan, NOT China. That speaks for the quality. Henry
