Good for 4k, but make sure you have a place to plug it in
It does what I want it to - streams video in resolution up to 4k. If you have an older screen you probably don't need this, but if you have anything more modern that supports it, it's cool. The major downside is you have to get it with the original power adapter that is a wall-wart style thing with a built-in ethernet port. (This is case your wireless connection isn't good enough to stream 4k video.) I wish you could optionally use a different adapter to plug it into a dedicated 5 volt USB slot like my new tv has, but using any other power supply will result in an annoying message on the bottom of the screen and only support up to 1080p video. Don't buy this used without the original adapter, it's useless. (Unless you don't care about 4k streaming, and that's the only reason to have this, otherwise stick to an older model.)
