Good but not perfect, at a good price
Definitely more efficient than the previous fan (a Manrose axial switched/timer type) and the PIR is what we now need. This was a good price for a PIR/centrifugal bathroom fan, and though it's not quiet, it's bearable.
It's fiddly to fit, and very fiddly to adjust the run-on timer due to poor design. There's no way to see how long it's set for. The outer casing is so badly moulded that it has a small split and visible sprue outside and a bigger flaw inside - it shouldn't have got through quality control, which is disappointing for a UK made product. But I can't face the hassle of taking it down, sending it back and fitting another.
