EV Electro-Voice EKX15P EKX-15P Powered 15" Speaker Pair w/ Covers & XLR Cables

EV EKX-15P powered speakers
I bought a pair of refurbs from the EV store to go with my 2 ELX-118P powered subs, also from the EV store. They came super fast in the original boxes in great condition. Besides a couple of scuffs, they are mint. No need to pay full price for new. I did extensive research on many other brands like QSC, JBL, Mackie... I almost bought the ELX-15P but decided to go with the EKX series. This setup sounds great!! I have a classic rock band that plays small clubs and parties and this system rocks. We use a Mackie board and berringer EQ and mic all the drums and instruments. The system handles it no problem and has plenty of headroom. Crisp clear and powerful, I would say this is the best speaker for the money period! Exceptional EV quality and engineering and compact and lightweight. I fit the whole system in a Chevy Blazer. They sound great outdoors and have cooling fan for hot days. The DSP pairs the perfectly with my ELX-18p subs. If I did it again I would probably go with the EKX subs but the ELX sound excellent and are very punchy. Overall I am VERY happy with my purchase and love these speakers. I also got the covers with them and they are heavy duty padded nylon. Perfect fit. If you are looking for a compact but powerful speaker system, EV EKX is a great choice.
