Great title
A book that should be in every serious archaeology enthusiast's library, whether professional or amateur. James Ford set the standard for Lower Mississippi Valley (LMV) native pottery typology and cultural time lines..Though highly influential still today his ideas weren't without controversy..A good read overall and with that being said- he wasn't wrong about everything and I'm sure his contemporaries Webb and Willey would have agreed.
