Rand McNally TND 500 GPS Receiver
4 of 7 found this helpful This GPS unit has failed to measure up. I have two gps units. A garmin 5000 and the latest Rand McNally 500. The Rand McNally constantly loses itself, and I have to rely on the Garmin to find the proper way. I paid extra funds to have the Rand McNally unit updated with the latest maps, but after doing so, it still failed to perform adequately. I have called the 800 Rand McNally number for assistance, but still that has done very little for their product's performance. You would think, that the company Rand McNally would invent an adequate GPS unit. This one has turned out to be a failure.
