Very rugged document chest
1 of 1 found this helpful It's large enough to hold all of my documents. Very rugged. Weighs around 46 lbs with my documents included. Definitely too heavy to lug around. I only purchased this to protect my documents in case of fire.
The only minor downside, is that the manufacture recommends it be laid flat, which requires substantial space, as opposed e.g. having it sit upright in a closet. It's too heavy for some family members to be able to move, so bear this in mind when finding the idea spot to place it. It's not meant as a security chest to store valuables, so I have the key fastened onto the handle, and just leave the key always in the lock in the closed position.
