Excellent product from Hipshot!

Manufacturers should put these on guitars.... every one of mine (but the 12 string) has one. Lowering the E string to D usually throws the rest of the neck slightly out of tune but for some reason these Hipshot levers don't do that. They can be flipped back and forth without any affect to the rest of the guitar. Excellent product.

Some things we have to learn the hard way. One should read the ads carefully. I missed the fact that they were untested and that there was no return on the sale so of course they didn't work. They wouldn't take a charge, but I discovered it was due to faulty batteries. I swapped batteries with the broken pair these were meant to replace and so ended up with a working unit. I'd have saved the others as backup, but this is fine. They work now, and I've learned a valuable lesson.

Cello stand problem

This stand does what it's supposed to... hold the cello upright, but the rubber pad at the top wouldn't stay fixed to its round metal plate. I eventually had to hot glue it in place because it continued to fall off even when not being disturbed or in use. Once that was secured the stand was fine.
