You can pay a lot more for Nikon lenses, but why??
Great lens at a modest price. Works well with FX sensor Nikon cameras... Find one that has been little used and has had the lens protected by a UV filter and you will be very satisfied. Read what Ken Rockwell has to say about it. In the land of "experts", he actually is...

You'll be passing down to the next generation of shooters...
Great quality... I was also pleased to find something not made in the PRC... This was manufactured in Taiwan and while Chinese, an improvement over the mainland communist, capitalists... I paid $17 "buy it now" free shipping which was a deal over the big sporting stores, but feel they could sell far more at about a $13 price point and still make $$.

Best book I have read...ever!!!
5 of 5 found this helpful This is historically accurate, but riveting account will make you understand what white settlers moving west were risking. It also speaks of perhaps the saddest personal story of the Old West, that of Cynthia Ann Parker, taken by Comanches as a 9 year old, losing her entire family in the Comanche raid and then having same done to her some 25 years later by whites... Get this book...You will not be disappointed!
