Good replacement wheel for the price
This is a good quality replacement wheel for the price. I used it to replace the stock rear wheel on my daughter’s Specialized Hot Rock 24, which is about a $400 bicycle. This wheel is of identical quality to the stock wheel. At this price point wheels are machine built, meaning that you should expect to do a light truing/tightening. The only issue I had is that, while truing the wheel, I encountered seized spoke which broke upon tightening. I replaced the broken spoke with a spare from the previous wheel and completed the job without further incident. All in all, it’s a good product for the price. Understand that you’re not getting a hand built wheel at this price. If you’re willing and able to do some adjustments, then this product is a great deal.

My favorite grips for 30 years
These grips have been on every bicycle I've owned for over 30 years. Over the years, I've tried other options, but I keep coming back to these. They are long enough for adult hands to have plenty of room. They are neither too thin or too thick. The compound is soft enough to be comfortable without feeling mushy, and they last a long time.

Best brake pads for BMX
I’ve been using Kool Stop Salmon Compound brake pads on my BMX bikes for a few decades now. Now that I’m a father of two avid cyclists , I won’t trust the safety of my children to anything less. Over the years, I’ve used Salmon Kool Stop Pads in various iterations . In my opinion, this is by far the best design. However, I don’t care for Kool Stop’s “Patented Plow Tip” design. I feel this feature leads to spongy brake feel and is unnecessary, especially when proper toe in is easily attainable with a modern threaded brake post design such as this. This is easily remedied with fine sandpaper and 5 minutes of time. The salmon compound is by far the best I’ve ever used. It provides positive braking even when the rims are wet. This is the gold standard in rim brake pads.
