Finally, A Well Done Release.
1 of 1 found this helpful Years ago I got the two sets of The Time Tunnel on DVD. While I was glad to have them and their special features, it was a poor release - double sided disk being the worst aspect of it.
This Blu-ray set is what I wish had come out to begin with, the complete series and a bonus disc, and all on discs with a label on each disc.
There are six discs with the episodes and the seventh has a great set of bonus features which are pretty much the same as on the DVDs. The bonus features are:
1. The Original Unaired Pilot Episode (HD Version.)
2. 2002 Unaired TV Pilot.
It is truely a shame that this 2002 incarnation of the show didn't get picked up. It would have made an excellent series providing both going to the past and seeing what if any changes happen in their now. I really wish this had been turned into a series but I think it was too optamistic for the time.
3 Time Travelers TV Movie.
4 Cast Interviews.
5 Irwin Allen's Behind-The-Scenes.
6 Home Movies - UK Edit (No Audio)
7 Promotional TV And Radio Spots.
8 Visual Effects.
9 Camera Test (No Audio).
10 Stills Galleries.
I think the only difference in the special features is the HD version of the original unaired pilot, I don't think the 2002 pilot is HD.
All in all, as you can tell, I highly recommend this collection; it's well done, the discs come out of their holders fairly easily, and having all the bonus features on one disc is really nice. I still wish the 2002 pilot had made it. So buy away and you'll see what I mean.

Easy to use and saves space. I love GlidePoint!
I've been using the GlidePoint since it came out years ago. It's much easier to use than the typical mouse because it doesn't need a lot of room to move around on the desk and I've found it more accurate as well. Mine have lasted for years and the only reason I'm buying one now is my new Gigabyte mortherboard has a USB problem with Windows. I highly recommend GlidePoint in all it different versions.

Glad this is available, but listen-out for the distortion.
I like the music and the songs, I'm glad they added the extra 2 tracks. Having this disc is better than not, the reason for my bad review is the recording quality, many of the songs have bad or very bad distortion, beyond S's, Ch's, and the like. Since they also sound this way on my LP I assume it's the master recording and not the pressing or digitization.
Tracks 2, 3, 8, 9, 13, and 14 seem ok.
The rest of the tracks have varying amounts of distortion but track 6 seems especially bad.
6. Don’t Let Me Cross Over.
- Very bad distortion throughout the song.
I don't regret getting this disc, so buy, but listen-out for the distortion.
