Good mirroring of a computer screen; but video streaming was choppy
This dongle was easy to setup if you follow all the directions. It took 10 minutes to set up.
It was cool seeing my laptop's screen mirrored on a large 58" flat TV screen. This is a great way to show friends and family photos or give a slide presentation.
However, video that looked smooth on my laptop appeared choppy on the TV screen. This happened at all video resolutions. I found it unacceptable to watch jerky video with the sound slightly out of sync. So don't expect to enjoy movies playing on your laptop and displayed on the TV. Maybe I'm being a perfectionist, but I want video to be smooth.
Technical notes: It was not exactly easy to set up (but not difficult). You'll need to adjust the screen resolution on your computer to get a good display on the TV. Adjusting screen resolution on my Apple Laptop was easy to do. You'll need local WiFi, of course.
