Behringer Vintage Tube OD VT911- A Good Starting Point

I knew going in that this pedal had limitations. I had read that the Chinese tube was of poor quality. It Was! It sounded harsh..It Did! BUT...I also knew that for a fairly low price I had a good starting point. All the basic parts were there. The power supply, tube socket, controls, a metal case, etc. I changed the tube(tried 3 different tubes and did a few mods...and it's not bad. It still has too much gain but that can be moded as well. I still have a few more things I want to modify. For the bucks..Not bad if you're a DIY Moder and like to tinker to get your own sound!
