Evil Black spot in the Rose Garden
2 of 2 found this helpful I've tried every other product available with very limited success. For the last 3 years Black spot has decemated my Roses. I applied this stuff as recommended and then used it a second time a week later. It seems as though the Black Spot is gone. It's hard to tell for sure because the already existing black spots don't go away. But, after 2 applications it is appearing as if I may have the upper hand. The black spot is no longer gaining ground, ande many new leaves have started to show up looking very healthy. For this the "Mancozeb" would rate a 5. I docked it one point becuase it really looks bad on the leaves. I'm going to apply it one more time to be safe, and then switch to another less functional brand in hopes of keeping the black spot away without the ugly appearance of the Mancozeb. If this takes care of the problem, and it seems to be, I'll use thgis stuff the rest of my life. It's well worth it, ugly leaves and all!
