Poorly documented
My main gripe with this product is lack of information about how it is intended to be used. There's a piece of paper with tiny print in many languages about the warranty provisions, about which I'm unconcerned for now (I'll worry about that if I ever drop the phone, hopefully never). Nowhere is it explained that in order to plug the Lightening connector into my iPhone SE I need to fold back or cut away a piece of Silicone since it's intended for several different models. There's a little plastic card labeled "installation card" which had no further information. I found dislodging the bubbles that inevitably are left behind after installing the screen protector nearly impossible. After a couple of days of trying different objects--pen caps, etc.--and leaving some scratches on the protector, I finally realized that's what the "installation card" is for. That worked well. But it would have been nice if they told me.
This kit consists of 3 parts: a screen protector, a Silicone inner case and a hard plastic outer case. I'm not using the outer case. It would offer more protection against dropping but would make my phone more likely to slide out of my pocket and drop in the first place.
The Otter Box for my iPhone 4S covers part of the front of the phone, including the home button. That would cause the fingerprint reading function of the newer generation phones not to work so they had to rethink the design. Possibly that's why they included the hard outer case for added protection.
