New muffler fits well, no quieter than old muffler

The muffler was a perfect replacement for the original muffler. BUT it would have been helpful if there were some instructions noting that the mounting holes were not threaded and you need to use the original bolts to cut the threads in the mounting holes. I figured it out after a while, but some kind of note would have been helpful. The reason I bought the new muffler was that my family complained that the mower was noisy. The old muffler had no visible holes or damage, and the replacement muffler was no quieter. So, overall, I'm not thrilled that I wasted an hour and some money to end up with no real benefit. That's not the fault of the muffler or its manufacturer, but just make sure your old muffler has a hole in it before thinking that a new muffler is going to quiet your engine.

Perfect fit and function

The headlight adjuster I bought was identical to the non-functioning device it replaced. On C5 Corvettes, these devices get exposed to lots of weather and the original unit had frozen. The replacement part arrived well packaged and in new condition. Once I installed it, it performed its function well, allowing me to properly focus my new headlights. The price was reasonable. GM no longer sells this part. They sell it as part of a larger expensive assembly.
