Good toy, better to buy old style

Although I do not like the design of the new cube, I still love the music and the way the child can play just one instrument or add them together to form the whole orchestra, or just start out with the full orchestra. The old design was much superior to this one, and the illustrations of the instruments were far better, but as it is no longer available, this one will have to do, I suppose. I sincerely wish the company would reverse their bad decision and go back to the old design - it was a GREAT toy, tough, built to last, and there was no way a child could get hurt playing with it. I have one that I bought about 12 years ago and it is still going strong and is a great favorite of children who visit. My strong inclination is to purchase a used one, but one hates to give a used gift. But if you are shopping for your own family and want a wonderful toy for a toddler up to probably about six years old (and mine still gets picked up and played with by children older than that) I strongly recommend that you find a used one at Ebay that is still in good condition and consider buying it for your child.

Another Winner From Mossy Creek

I read the Mossy Creek books several years ago and enjoyed them very much. In the middle of these winter months, it seemed to me to be a good idea to revisit Mossy Creek, so I started over from the first, reading the books in order. I am enjoying them just as much the second time around. I am just beginning this one, and had forgotten that the circus bus would break down in Mossy Creek, livening up their winter as well as mine. If you haven't read these books, and you sometimes want to put aside the heavy reading and just read for pure fun, you really should begin at the beginning and read them for just good, lighthearted reading! You will wish, as I do, that you could drop by Mossy Creek, have coffee at The Naked Bean, and hope that several friends would drop around so you could get to meet them!

A great bookmark

I enjoy having plenty of book darts around for the books I am currently reading. They can be placed to mark the spot one left off so that it is quickly found, and best of all, though they are tight enough to stay in place, they leave no fold marks on book pages, as paper clip type bookmarks do. The tin that these came in holds 125, so I will have plenty for myself and plenty to share with friends, or to place in a gift book. It is impossible to find any fault with these handy gadgets!
