Schubert sonatas in well-edited form, together with good annotations and preambles.
It's a set of Schubert's sonatas, so inevitably it's going to be excellent. The Gasteiner is here, which was the one I really wanted, but the unfinished works are also very interesting, if in need of tightening up polishing. Some movements go on for ever, and cycle through keys without sufficient variation. You can see the parallels with Beethoven throughout, and if only he had lived a bit longer, who knows what may have emerged from his dramatically courageous pen.
