GARIZ HALF CASE IN PELLE MARRONE - Fujifilm X100F

Best case available for Fujifilm X Series
Workmanship and fit is faultless, it's a bit expensive but all the other half cases that I've tried over the years just don't even come close to the standard of this one. It will retain at least 50% of its value and can easily be sold on if it doesn't fit when next upgrading. It's got a nice and very useful bump on the right front, you don't realise how ergonomically useful this is until you use it. Nothing's perfect; I think that there is a bit too much height added to the distance between the base of the camera and the base of the case; the whole assembly ends up "growing" about 1/4" too much in height. One of the attractions of these cameras is their small size, this contradicts the design, just a bit. Frank

Won’t fit Mark 1 valve
I’m not an expert on Rapids but these seals will not fit the original metal valve used in a MK1 The material looks correct but the proper replacement (Terry Robb) seal is formed/stamped with a ridge allowing the inner part of the seal to protrude, very slightly, through the valve face, see photos The ID is also a bit smaller than the original see comparative photos Hope this helps

Very Useful Tool
I’ve bought a used peak magnifier about 20 years ago but it only had one gradation plate. After looking into the price of additional plates I decided to buy a new one as it wasn’t much more than buying the additional plates and also this new one is 10X the old one is only 7X. It’s a very well made and top quality item, made in Japan; says it all. I also have the Peak focus finder for darkroom use also a top quality optic. Two things though, the plastic case could be a bit more substantial for an item of this price, and don’t bother with the Illumination attachment, my old one is a very weak light source and doesn’t really add much. It’s possible that the latest versions are LED but if not don’t bother.
