Snapped alloy wheel stud removal - easy
Excellent bite and quality. Much better than cheapo extractors which can snap off in use and leave a real problem.
Wheel off. Centre punched stud remnant. A hard nail will do. Screwfix extreme cobalt bits 2mm first, then 4mm then 6.5mm. Use cutting oil or whatever you have. Keep drill square and drill right through the stud. Knocked 2nd biggest extractor into holed stud with hammer until tight. Wrench onto extractor. Tap wrench with hammer to turn and shock nut out.
Worked first time! A bit surprised how easy it was. Extractor bites into metalwork nicely. Hardly a mark on it after use. Well worth the money for occasional use. Best in this price bracket.
