About

God’s grace is everything. I believe in honesty and good communication. I’m seeing a lot of auction winners that disappear and don’t pay in recent times. You will be reported. Let’s get back to making eBay a great marketplace amongst all the others.

Really nice
I really like this Chromebook a lot. It feels like a quarter step from being almost unbeatable. It's a little heavy, the screen needs to be 13.3", and the items connected in a USB-C adapter briefly disconnect when plugging or unplugging a pass-through power supply to it. I also prefer darker keys because the back lighting of the keyboard can be tricky when in certain lighting. But there are dark and other alternate color keyboard covers available for this to remedy that. But overall, besides those factors, it is a super laptop with great feel. And a classy appearance to the device and it's OEM carrying case. And it's so nice that it is a 2 in 1 fold back form factor, now it is being supported up to 2026. If you don't mind the issues I shared here, you will love this device.

HTC Touch Dual 16-key
This WM6.1 phone is a touch screen with a slide-out numeric keypad and 4 extra buttons, totalling 16 keys. There is a 20-key qwerty keyboard version (similar to the Blackberry Pearl keyboard) with essentially 2 letters dedicated to each key, not 3 as with the standard numeric keypad. First of all, I prefer touch screen for interface and WM Professional programs and functionality over the WM Standard (non-touchscreen) devices. And I prefer T9/XT9 text entry over Qwerty because I like to be able to easily type one-handed without my thumb getting wore out going all other the place, and especially when I'm busy and don't have the time to pay close attention to little buttons every moment. And I prefer hardware keys over touchscreen keys for the actual data entry. So, this was just the combination in one device that I prefer most. Wi-Fi isn't that important to me, so I didn't need that. And there isn't a 16-key version of this device released in the US (besides a T-Mobile branded one), so I had to get the European/Asian unlocked one, which eliminates the opportunity for US 3G coverage. But if that was the only real thing I was going to have to give up for all I get, that was fine with me. It still supports US GSM EDGE. This combination of features is extremely rare for WM Pro devices. Most are either full Qwerty bar or slider phones, or completely touch only. The only other I know of with numeric keypad and touchscreen is the HP iPAQ 610 series (again, ironically no US release, so I used the 614c European release). It maxed out at WM6.0 official ROM, and had a few annoying bugs that HP never released for correction. So, I have been thoroughly please with the device. Yes, it has only a couple hardware buttons that are customizable (including using third party software that further customizes some buttons), but again, this was about the only other trade-off for having what I was looking for. The device works great, has excellent brightness for a WM Pro device when in the sun, and it responds quickly to commands. The OS is very stable, and HTC has excellent features such as TouchFLO and a Home Screen plug-in that keeps me from having to use 3rd party software for weather access, profile switching (Normal, Silent, Vibrate...). Another excellent feature is when you tap the upper right of the taskbar area (where data, G/E/3G, speaker, and time are), it brings up a pop-up window with each of those items much bigger to then select, instead of how most devices make you have to tap the small icon on the taskbar individually, which is so hard to do with a thumb, on the go, etc. Great idea...why isn't this standard on carrier-branded devices as well? These and others are extra little features like this that HTC has added to this (and from what I hear, other HTC unlocked devices) that the US carrier-branded versions don't ever seem to get. I don't know why this is. The device itself is very sturdy and doesn't feel or look cheap. It actually has a brazen silver metallic finish, with chrome around the sides. The camera is two-sided, so you can easily do a self-portrait while seeing yourself on the screen. I was impressed with the very sharp, heavy packaging, and the accessories included. Headset, 2 styli, felt slip case (not beltclip), screen protector (!!), wall charger, and sync cable. Overall, just great...for me. It all depends on what you want in a device. But if you're looking for the same things I am, then this is great!

My favorite profile and ergonomic experience, for one. The size and feel, and having the left and right-click hard buttons at the top of the mousepad is golden for me. Backlit keyboard, Lenovo's standard camera door built in, and the power button under the screen and not on the side of the device. USB-C charging is very excellent. 2-in-1 foldback for alternate screen viewing. So well done for my liking.
